This intimate space features three dining levels, including a stunning mezzanine/lounge area, and our main floor, drenched in natural light and with great views of Table Mountain. Not hungry? Pop in for sundowners at our vibey street-side bar to wet your whistle on a cocktail or craft beer.
While Jonny looks after your food in the kitchen, Jorge will take care of you and your Black Sheep experience on the restaurant floor.
With almost 25 years cooking experience in both UK and SA restaurants under his belt. He’s worked with Ross Lewis in the Michelin-starred Chapter One in Dublin and Jeremy Lee at The Blue Print Café in London. But it was his love for gastropubs across the UK that inspired his dedication to honest, uncomplicated, good food made with the best local ingredients.
An innate understanding of and a passion for the food service industry has seen Jorge spend the last 20 years refining his skills in this area. With experience spanning Chile, North America and South Africa, Jorge’s real exposure to a myriad of international tastes and his winning personality has established him with a firm following of patrons. And when you meet him, you’ll understand why.
