Ahoy there, our dear Black Sheep flock!
What a ride these last weeks have been, and by “ride” we mean “falling off and going nowhere for a month”. We hope that this unprecedented global experience has been as gentle as possible on you and your people.
The Black Sheep family is well, but we can’t wait to get back to doing what we love – serving you the fantastic food you’ve come to know and trust us for.
And that’s our plan. The same Black Sheep quality, now in a box delivered right to your doorstep. Yes, the Sheep is going on the lam(b)!
Although there are still tough times ahead, we’re delighted and excited to announce that we’ll be reopening for delivery as soon as Cape Town moves to Level 4.
Naturally, safety is our top priority: as you know, we’re a small, family-run bistro, and health protocols are paramount both for us and for you. We will be initialising all additional Covid-19 government regulations beyond our current stringent operations and will go beyond these to ensure that our food preparation and delivery are of the highest standards.
With this in mind, we’ve decided to go independent and undertake our own deliveries.
This means that we can control the quality and safety of our food, from production through to delivery. And, on a much happier note, It also means that you’ll only ever see the friendly, familiar faces you’ve seen in our restaurant. We’re particularly excited about this because we’ve really missed seeing you!
Our payment methods will be cashless, rest assured that we will make this as seamless and easy as possible.
We’ll be updating this space as we get our sheep all in a row and soon you’ll know what delicious treats Jonny has in store for you and how we’ll be able to get them from our kitchen to yours.
Here’s to good food in the most interesting of times!
Stay safe,
The Black Sheep family
